A boutique studio, small on purpose.
box.biz.id is a four-person studio working with three to five clients at a time. We choose the work; we don't take it all. We ship the team or we don't ship.
Origin
We started in 2021 because the alternatives didn't fit. Big agencies shipped brand decks and outsourced the code. Freelancers had taste but no process. We wanted both — and a clear answer to "what does this cost, and when does it ship?"
Five years and 74 projects later, we still answer that question on the first call. We've never missed a deadline. We've made a few smaller promises along the way.
Operating model
Fixed scope, fixed cadence, fixed outcomes. We share the brief publicly, we share the source code, and we document every decision in your team's wiki.
In 2026, we run two project pods in parallel. Each pod has a designer, an engineer, and an AI agent on retainer. We don't bill for hours. We bill for outcomes.
Values
Made, not assembled.
We compose, we don't bolt together. Every project has a point of view.
Measure twice, ship once.
We design the system before the screen. We test the contract before the code.
Boring is fine.
Stack choices are made for longevity. We avoid novelty for novelty's sake.
Tell the truth.
About timelines, about scope, about what's not working. Even when it's uncomfortable.
The team
15y between agency and in-house. Believes the brief is the deliverable.
Ex-platform eng. Cares about deploys the way chefs care about mise en place.
Background in motion. Refuses to ship a hero without a story it earns.
Six years in NLP. Teaches our agents to fail gracefully.
